W.TEC Academy Programme Starts For 2022

Our technology co-curricular programme for secondary school girls in across the country has kicked off for the 2022 school calendar year.  Kwara State (W.TEC Academy – Kwara State Programme) wrapped for 2021 with a reach of 361 participants at 13 schools across the state where they were taught scratch programming and video editing. The programme in Lagos in 2021 trained 232 girls were at 9 schools in partnership with Lagos State Science Research and Innovation Council (LASRIC).

The programme is poised to train over 700 participants in Ilorin and Offa for the 2022 school calendar year. The students in the participanting schools will be taught computer fundamentals and scratch programming. Our W.TEC Academy programme in Kwara State is done in collaboration with @Oracle

The W.TEC Academy Lagos programme on the other hand is set to train over 300 participants in Lagos Mainland for the 2022 school calendar year. The students in the participanting schools will be taught computer video editing and scratch programming. Our W.TEC Academy programme in Lagos State is done in collaboration with Lagos State Science Research and Innovation Council (LASRIC).
