Benita Clement is a young leader and innovator. She is ardent about women empowerment in STEM and creating solutions that enhance female participation in STEM.
She is an embedded systems developer passionate about creating green technological solutions and currently a student of Federal University of Technology Owerri studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

MONSURAT OSHINFISAN

Vice Chair

Monsurat Oshinfisan is an alumni of our 2013 W.TEC Girls Technology Camp for girls now renamed She Creates Camp. She has been very engaged with W.TEC since participating in the W.TEC Camp in 2013. This she has done by volunteering with W.TEC Camp for girls as a camp instructor 4 times, facilitating in W.TEC’s Girls Voices Programme and serving as an intern with W.TEC for her SIWES programme.

Monsurat is graduate of Mass Communication from the prestigious Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta and a current 400 Level conversion student at Crescent University Abeokuta. She combines this with an online fashion store business.

She joins W.TEC’s Girls Advisory Council with her experience in active social participation in student bodies like Rotaract Club and Tourism Comet club. She is a lady who believes girls can break the norms and doing things extraordinarily if the work hard. Her aspirations for W.TEC alumnae network is to gradually have members of W.TEC Alumnae Network taking up major roles in the Nigerian tech sector.

During her time in the camp in 2013, her focus was on being an art student but the influence of the camp has made her embrace the use of technology in solving most of her daily needs. In light of this, Monsurat looks forward to W.TEC eventually bridging the tech gender gap in Nigeria and the world.

Racheal Adanna

Secretary

A graduate of Financial management technology from the prestigious Federal university of technology Owerri, who because of her interest and passion for employee wellbeing and growth of SME’S decided to pursue a career in human resource management. A great motivator who thrives off positive results, and seeks ways to maximize opportunities, to keep learning and growing. Racheal is an efficient team player, focused, tenacious and high spirited with good communication and interpersonal skills.

OYIN ADEPITI

Oyin is a graduate of the University of Benin and a Postgraduate student of Babcock university. She is a detail-oriented Data annotation engineer, adept at making critical decisions, managing deadlines and conducting team reviews. With expertise in analysis and quantitative problem-solving skills. She takes pleasure in always learning, meeting new people and is a great team player with a flair for reading books.

Arafah Ayobami Ogunfemi (Bami) is a software engineer currently based in Lagos, Nigeria. She is a creative problem-solver with over three years of professional experience building and creating amazing web experiences with teams, startups, and companies. She is passionate about developer communities, web and mobile technologies.

Chizitalu Ogbuja is spirited. Currently stuying psychology in the university of Nigeria Nsukka and aiming to be one of the best in the field of industrial psychology some day. She loves reading, writing and engaging in stimulating and constructive arguments. Aisdes school, she is a content writer with psychmoments blog. One thing she is passionate about? The girl child empowerment.

Miss Toluwani Precious Ogunbiyi is an Agricultural Entrepreneur and Content Creator.

She is usually called ‘World changer’ because she has and is still operating in many leadership positions and has developed a reputation for bringing out the best in whomever she encounters.

She is innovative, creative and passionate about whatever she does. She enjoys creating valuable and creative contents, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
