RAISING TECH-SAVVY FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS BY W.TEC

As a means to raise tech-savvy female entrepreneurs, the Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC) via her SHE CAN WITH ICT programme has trained over 600 female participants with digital tools for business productivity and soft skills to help sustain business growth. Recently, W.TEC hosted a graduation ceremony for more female entrepreneurs at the International Women’s Society Centre, Lagos.

At the graduation of 23 female entrepreneurs, they were mentored on business by a Mentor at W.TEC, Mrs Preye. She enlightened the women on the power of Mindset and how to stay ahead in business. The graduation ceremony had more inspiring talk sessions and experience-sharing moments for the graduands.

During the course of the training, the SHE CAN WITH ICT participants learnt about Market Research, Productivity tools, how to develop a technology strategy for their business, social media marketing and how to create graphic designs. They also explored creating an about me website.

Furthermore, the SHE CAN WITH ICT training would help participants use technology to grow their businesses, increase profitability ability and help generate additional income-generating means.

We look forward to transforming individuals with little or no technology experience to becoming tech-savvy entrepreneurs to ensure business growth and productivity.
