MakeHER Space – Renewable Energy Series

W.TEC Presents: MakeHER Space - Renewable Energy Series

Our technology training empowerment programme for ladies MakeHER Space is set to  present to the public, her tutorial series to train and educate the public on renewable energy producing rechargeable devices powered with solar energy.

The objective of the production is to empower more girls with hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills and also encourage more participation in STEM. Thus, the Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre (W.TEC) is set to release the tutorials in earnest.

The MakeHER Space tutorial series aims at providing youths with a step-by-step guide on how to build hands-on STEM projects. The projects include: Power Bank, Solar Phone Charger, Current Detector, Rechargeable Lamp, and Water Level Detector.

The programme at large by W.TEC teaches beneficiaries how to use technology and engineering to solve problems in their communities, provides information about career options, and introduces them to successful women in STEM.

Furthermore, the tutorials would be available soon on W.TEC’s YouTube page @watchwtec. Kindly subscribe to the YouTube page and turn on notifications.

The #makeherspacewtec project by W.TEC is designed to provide training for women and girls, and designated spaces to learn hands-on skills to build technological and engineering-based solutions for their communities.

The programme by W.TEC is conducted across Nigeria with support from Google.
