Countdown Timer & Stopwatch
Three tools in one: countdown timer with alarm sound, stopwatch with lap times and variance tracking, and a full Pomodoro timer with customisable work and break durations. Works entirely in your browser — no install, no account.
Three Modes
Countdown Timer — set hours, minutes and seconds, or use a quick preset (1 min, 5 min, 25 min Pomodoro, etc.). A progress bar shows time remaining. Tick "Sound alarm when done" to get an audible beep when the timer reaches zero.
Stopwatch — precision stopwatch with 0.1-second resolution. Record lap times and see the variance from average for each lap. Best lap is highlighted green, worst lap red. A summary line shows best, worst and average across all laps. Copy all laps to clipboard for use in a spreadsheet.
Pomodoro Timer — implements the full Pomodoro technique cycle automatically. Work sessions and short breaks alternate, with a longer break after every 4 work sessions. Customise all three durations. Skip any phase with one click. Completion dots track your cycles.
What Is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. Work is broken into focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes) called "Pomodoros", separated by short breaks (5 minutes). After 4 Pomodoros, take a longer break (15–30 minutes). The method reduces mental fatigue, improves focus and creates a sustainable work rhythm. It is widely used by students, writers, programmers and anyone doing knowledge work that requires sustained concentration.
