Yewande Sadiku is W.TEC's #WCW

Our WCW this week is Yewande Sadiku, she is a distinguished investment banker from Nigeria and a Public Servant. She was appointed Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) in September 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari. Before her appointment to head NIPC, she was Executive Director of Corporate and Investment Banking at Stanbic IBTC Bank.
Interestingly in 2013 she embarked on a big project to produce Half of a Yellow Sun an adaptation from the novel Half of a Yellow Sun written by Chimamanda Adichie. Being an Executive Director for a big budget Nollywood movie, she paved the way for more big budget Nollywood movies.
Yewande Sadiku is our #WCW this week for being a big inspiration for our ladies in STEM, being a graduate of industrial chemistry she has gone on to achieve big things. Thus we look forward to having more women like her inspiring the next generation of leading Nigerian women.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
