MakeHER Space Commences In Zone II

Our MakerHER Space Team led by Folashade Braimoh, our Programmes Manager, recently conducted a train the trainer – training sessions for Zone 2 – facilitators and coordinators of our #makeherspacewtec project.This is towards the next traunch of trainings for the programme in Zone 2.

Zone 2 of the project currently involves 3 states across the country and its projected to train 1000 participants in next traunch of trainings after 668 participants were trained in the last set of trainings.

The #makeherspacewtec project by W.TEC is a technology training empowerment programme for ladies conducted with support from @google.

Furthermore we are excited to announce that we will be including art related courses to the new phase of trainings to widen the opportunities for our participants.

W.TEC is working with @yishda to deliver the project in Zone 2.

Subsequently the project has commenced across the 3 states of Zone 2 of our  #makeherspacewtec project is in full gear. Our participants at numerous centres are currently learning the technology of solar energy.

This involves building power banks and lamps powered with solar plates. This is to enable our participants harness solar power to power their devices for their daily needs and also learn how to work with electric circuits in combination with solar panels.

Zone 2 of the project currently involves 3 states across the country and its projected to train 1000 participants in the ongoing series of trainings.
