Hannah Osborn Joins Ironman Race in to Raise Funds for W.TEC's Summer Camp For Girls
We are indeed touched by this show of love and kindness by a total stranger to our cause.
Hannah Osborn contacted us with her aim to support our summer camp for girls tagged She Creates.
Now she is running her own campaign to raise funds for our camp’s fund raising account with the GlobalGiving platform.
She has already raised over $500 for our camp. This is going to bless some girls, who will be able to attend our camp thanks to her efforts.
According to our Executive Director, Oreoluwa Lesi,
“Recently, W.TEC received a message from Ms. Hannah Osborn, who informed us that she would be participating in the Ironman Italy and raising funds for W.TEC’s annual She Creates STEM Camp for girls.
I was particularly touched, because I have never met Hannah and, to the best of my knowledge, neither has anyone else in our organisation, and so we consider it a big deal that she choose W.TEC as the recipient for her efforts”.
